Dr. Dilek Üstünalan (PhD Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul). Her research focuses on the homemaking experiences of middle-class Syrian refugee women in Istanbul, through a multi-scalar and sensory ethnographic approach. She examines how forced migrants negotiate belonging through everyday material and sensory experiences.
