Susan Beth Rottmann (PhD, University of Wisconsin) is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Özyeğin University in Istanbul, Turkey. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research explores migration, belonging, gender, democracy and citizenship in Turkey and Europe, with a focus on everyday practices of inclusion and exclusion in transnational settings.
